RESPONSIBILITIES:

HCS is looking for Courseware Developers to develop skills-based training modules under the Skills Framework for Human Resource (HR). If you are a subject matter expert in any of the Technical Skills and Competencies topics, are passionate about developing quality adult-education programmes and possess the relevant qualification, this is the perfect assignment for you.
For each assigned project you are required to:

  • Incorporate blended learning component in the module design
  • Create original training documents including Learner’s Guide, Case studies, Learner’s Workbook, Facilitator’s Guide, Assessment plan, etc.
  • The content coverage is for a block of 24-hours training for people managers, and HR professionals in small and large organisations

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum 8 years practical industry experience in a Human Resource/leadership role
  2. Familiar with the WSQ competency framework and have experience in courseware authorship/adult training
  3. Excellent command of English language and writing skill
  4. Minimum Bachelor degree in relevant field of study from a recognised university
  5. DACE qualification is necessary (Candidates without DACE qualification but with relevant curriculum design/courseware writing experience may be considered)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Programme advisory and sales responsibilities:

  • Provide programme consultation (phone / email / walk-ins) to individuals, HR and L&D professionals
  • Provide course admission advisory to help learners determine their learning tracks and funding
  • Recommend suitable courses including WSQ Human Resource, and Leadership and People Management programmes to meet the professional development needs of learners
  • Actively develop and maintain relationship with potential and existing learners to achieve targets
  • Work closely with management for sales calls and events to develop existing and new client relationships

2. Programme management responsibilities:

  • Develop relevant learning programmes, including learning journeys
  • Engage with internal teams on programme curriculum, schedules and delivery
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure positive learning experience
  • Ensure timely billing and collection of programme fees

3. Marketing responsibilities:

  • Work with internal team to develop marketing materials for different learning programmes and events
  • Engage learners through various channels, including (but not limited to):
    • Print advertising
    • Online advertising
    • Events
    • Telephone direct marketing
    • Social media

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • Diploma and above with sales experience (student recruitment – adult learners)
  • Takes pride in providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with attention to detail
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets (corporate sales experience will be an advantage)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong organisation, planning and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong sense of initiative, with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team
  • Prior experience in the education/training/events/marketing industry an advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage IT-related projects such as internal IT capabilities and data analytics projects
  • Manage and maintain Student and Training Database, School Management System (SMS) and Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Organise information by analysing, interpreting, and classifying data
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s), including operations, network / server management and training admin duties

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good qualifications in Computer science/Information science/Mathematics/Engineering/Statistics/Operations from reputable institutions
  • Background in Education-related industry and function will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated computer knowledge and skills, including coding and software development
  • Experience with multiple programming languages and diverse software and hardware
  • Good written and spoken communication ability in English (Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage in order to liaise with the Mandarin speaking associates)
  • Good problem-solving skills, project-management and multi-tasking skills
  • Works well under pressure

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conceptualise, develop and implement integrated corporate branding and public relations strategies to ensure that the public has a good understanding of HCS, its HR WSQ programmes, tertiary education programmes, HR advisory services and other new businesses through pro-active engagement, as well as targeted creative communications.
  • Plan and execute company-wide marketing strategy, including, but not limited to digital marketing, B2B, B2C, C2C
  • Develop creative design and do copywriting for corporate publications and marketing collaterals including course synopsis, brochures, newsletters, publicity materials, webpage contents.
  • Maintain and update corporate website and social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Research, write and edit press releases, speeches, articles including corporate presentation materials.
  • Keep abreast of trends and developments in human capital management and development and update/make recommendations to senior management to enhance the market positioning and branding of HCS.
  • Oversee outreach events such as road shows, exhibitions, talks, conferences, masterclasses or seminars.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum a Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Journalism or equivalent.
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of marketing communications, public relations, branding and media relation or similar capacity.
  • Strong command of the English language and Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients and business partners)
  • Experienced in managing corporate social media platform.
  • Good analytical and creative mind.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced working environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • IT-savvy and works well under pressure

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle full-sets of accounts including data entry into accounting system.
  • AP duties include verifying vendor invoices with supporting documents and issuing payments.
  • AR duties include monitoring ageing report, sending Statement of Accounts, following-up on outstanding debts and recording incoming payment.
  • Handle funding claims and audit support.
  • Handle bank reconciliation and manage cash book.
  • GST filings preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and processes for accounting & finance functions.
  • Liaising with Operations and external vendors on key accounting related matters.
  • Cross-functional support on ad-hoc reports and / or accounting matters.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Possess a willing-to-learn and proactive attitude.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 1 to 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience with accounting MYOB software MYOB is a plus.

JOB OBJECTIVES:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Support the Management Office, in particular the CEO’s office, in various tasks as assigned, including, but not limited to:
    • Corporate Secretariat Support, including preparing documents for corporate reporting, supporting the Management Committee Meeting and other internal and external meetings
    • New initiatives and projects
    • Marketing & corporate communications
    • Business development initiatives including feasibility study, preparation of proposal, liaise with relevant authorities, etc
  2. Assist and support in special projects and events undertaken by the Management Office, as and when necessary
  3. Assist to provide contents for website, collateral & etc
  4. Research and keep abreast of current industry practices.
  5. Any other duties as assigned by CEO and superior (s)

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. An honours degree from any recognised universities
  2. Strong command of the English language and the ability to write and speak English well is essential. Proficiency in Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates) will be an advantage
  3. Keen interest in the continuing education and training industry.
  4. Strong interest in research, data analysis and/or curriculum development.
  5. Proactive, self-starter with an analytical and creative mind.
  6. Entrepreneurial spirit. 
  7. Exhibit strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  8. Strong analytical sense, able to justify recommendations based on sound judgement and analysis.
  9. High level of competence with MS Office.
