Over the years, the HR function has evolved and is no longer seen as a separate, support-providing activity confined to HR managers and practitioners only. Instead, it is viewed as a line function undertaken by every manager having HR activities as part of his responsibilities, regardless of his area of specialisation. Therefore, it is imperative that all managers with an HR function have the competency and capability to develop and manage people. It is for this reason that Human Capital Singapore Pte Ltd or HCS was established.

HCS was incorporated in April 2009 as the national centre for Continuing Education and Training, and a provider of advisory services for human capital excellence. Leveraging on our strong network of industry partners, we train and develop people managers so that they can rise to the occasion and re-design critical HR processes, identify and build needed competency and deploy best HR practices to meet the changing expectations of the industry.
