Level 2 WSQ Higher Certificate in Human Resources
The HR WSQ framework is designed to enable an individual to seek upgrading and career progression in a practical and flexible manner through bite-sized learning. An individual can obtain certification through a combination of the various modules and levels available.
In order to obtain a Level 2 WSQ Higher Certificate in Human Resources, an individual must complete:
- 4 core + 4 electives
- At least 2 of the 4 electives must be from HR WSQ Level 2
- Maximum of 2 electives may be taken from Levels 3 & 4 within HR WSQ
- Maximum of 2 electives may be taken from other WSQ frameworks
Level 3 WSQ Advanced Certificate in Human Resources
The HR WSQ framework is designed to enable an individual to seek upgrading and career progression in a practical and flexible manner through bite-sized learning. An individual can obtain certification through a combination of the various modules and levels available.
In order to obtain a Level 3 WSQ Higher Certificate in Human Resources, an individual must complete:
- 4 core + 4 electives
- At least 2 of the 4 electives must be from HR WSQ Level 2
- Maximum of 2 electives may be taken from HR WSQ Levels 2, 4 OR 5
- Maximum of 2 electives may be taken from other WSQ frameworks
Level 4 WSQ Professional Diploma in HR (HR Development)
The HR WSQ framework is designed to enable an individual to seek upgrading and career progression in a practical and flexible manner through bite-sized learning. An individual can obtain certification through a combination of the various modules and levels available.
In order to obtain a Level 4 WSQ Professional Diploma in HR (HR Development), an individual must complete:
- 4 core + 6 electives
- At least 4 electives must be from HR WSQ Level 4
- Maximum of 2 electives may be taken from HR WSQ Levels 3 or 5 or other WSQ frameworks
- Maximum of 4 HRD electives must be taken, of which at least 3 must come from Level 4
Level 4 WSQ Professional Diploma in HR (HR Management)

In order to obtain a Level 4 WSQ Professional Diploma in HR (HR Management), an individual must complete:
- 4 core + 6 electives
- At least 4 electives must be from HR WSQ Level 4
- Maximum of 2 electives may be taken from HR WSQ Levels 3 or 5 or other WSQ frameworks
- Maximum of 4 HRM electives must be taken, of which at least 3 must come from Level 4
Level 4 WSQ Professional Diploma in HR

- Minimum of 2 electives must be taken from the respective HRM & HRD categories, of which 3 must come from Level 4
Level 5 WSQ Specialist Diploma in HCM (HR Development)
The HR WSQ framework is designed to enable an individual to seek upgrading and career progression in a practical and flexible manner through bite-sized learning. An individual can obtain certification through a combination of the various modules and levels available.
In order to obtain a Level 5 WSQ Specialist Diploma in HCM (HR Development), an individual must complete:
- 5 core + 5 electives
- All electives must be taken from HR WSQ
- At least 3 electives must come from HR WSQ Level 5 and maximum of 2 may be from HR WSQ Level 4
- Minimum of 4 HRD electives must be taken, of which at least 3 must come from level 5

In order to obtain a Level 5 WSQ Specialist Diploma in Human Capital Management (HCM), an individual must complete:
- 5 core + 5 electives
- All electives must be taken from HR WSQ
- At least 3 electives must come from HR WSQ Level 5 and maximum of 2 may be from HR WSQ Level 4
- Minimum of 2 electives must be taken from the respective HRM and HRD categories, of which at least 3 must come from level 5
