As early signs of economic recovery emerge, organisations throughout Asia are presented with a unique opportunity to outperform their competitors. Only those organisations agile enough to respond to changing customer requirements faster than their competitors will be able to achieve this. Now more than ever, companies must take a strategic approach to workforce planning to ensure they have the key talent necessary to move quickly in support of long-term business objectives. Rapid turnover and an ageing workforce will pose a real challenge to Human Capital Management. As a result, forecasting capability and resourcing requirements will allow businesses to adapt to changing markets and this provides an opportunity to marry the strengths of both Eastern and Western management approaches.
This session will address key strategic workforce planning issues facing CEOs, such as:
• Managing tomorrow’s world
• Translating business plans into human capital plans
• Achieving the right balance between local and foreign talent
• Developing global leadership skills
