Dr Bill Flexner conducted Singapore’s first ‘Master Facilitation Workshop’ on 16 and 17 April 2009. Dr Flexner is an Adjunct Professor of Social Medicine in the School of Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. The workshop attracted a total of 40 participants from various organisations.

A good representation of CEOs, HR managers, directors and trainers received first-hand information on facilitation dynamics, workshop management and the art of asking ‘The Right Question’ (TRQs). They were also treated to tips on managing facilitation sessions for corporate success.

At the end of the two-day workshop, participants were appointed as licensed ‘Master Facilitator’. This enables them to facilitate future dialogue sessions such as Communities of Practice (CoPs) and Priority Conversations (PCs) conducted at Human Capital Singapore. They will also be able to facilitate group discussions within their own companies for greater efficiency.
