


On 22 September 2009, Mr Leo Yip, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Manpower and Mr Chan Heng Kee, Chief Executive of Singapore Workforce Development Agency visited Mdm Ho Geok Choo, Chief Executive Officer of Human Capital Singapore.
The visit reinforced the strong partnership and support for the development and promotion of human capital excellence as a core part of every people manager’s learning. It also provided an opportunity to discuss future opportunities.
Mr Chan reiterated WDA’s support for the role that HCS played in leveling up human capability and competency and in this regard, would always be ready to cooperate and partner HCS in advancing its cause.
Mdm Ho conducted a tour of the new HCS premises, impressing the gentlemen with the aesthetics of the office and the modern training facilities. They also discussed the various training offerings, workforce development initiatives and other plans for growing the human capital industry.
Congratulating HCS, PS Leo Yip wished “for HCS to grow into a centre of excellence for training HR professionals”. Mr Chan was quick to add a note, ‘Happy to see HCS taking shape. It will make a meaningful difference to the HR scene in Singapore and the building up of human capital for companies.”
