How Businesses, Organisations & the Workforce align priorities with megatrends in the midst of the Covid Pandemic

About the Masterclass

Human Capital Singapore (HCS) supported by WSG is organising the HCS Masterclass: How Should Businesses, Organisations And The Workforce Align Priorities With Megatrends. This initiative is in line with the Emerging Stronger Taskforce (EST) recommendation for greater collaboration of the Public-Private-People sector. The collaboration with various partners (IHRP, Bosses Network, Alibaba Cloud & Singapore Computer Society) is in support of Alliance for Action (AfA).

The masterclass will highlight key trends impacting the Singapore economy – fragmentation of the global order, acceleration in the consolidation of industries, reconfiguration of global supply chains and production, accelerating digital transformation and innovation, changing consumer preferences, and an increased focus on sustainability.More specifically, this Masterclass will discuss the impact of the following developments:
  • The US-China Relationship
  • Singapore’s Relevance as a HQ Hub For The Global Economy
  • A New Global Taxation Order
  • The Rise Of Family Office Business In Singapore
  • Digital Currency

The masterclass will also discuss how businesses, organisations and the workforce respond to a changing playground.

The hyper-digital ecosystem, where people could work and companies could provide services from anywhere in the world has made it imperative for organisations to build an agile and strong core of local workforce and businesses to grow and scale.
