SYNOPSIS

This unit addresses the skills and knowledge required to develop and implement an organisation’s international compensation programme. It covers aligning the programme to organisation and country specific requirements and measuring its effectiveness

  1. Develop processes for the delivery of an international compensation programme
  2. Facilitate the implementation of the international compensation programme
  3. Measure effectiveness of international compensation programme

 

  1. Develop processes for the delivery of an international compensation programme
  • Analyse strategic and business plans to determine the scope of the international compensation programme and country specific requirements
  • Research trends and developments that may impact on the international compensation programme
  • Develop a compensation structure which reflects different work activities and job roles and ensuresthe organisation’s competitiveness
  • Develop remuneration and benefits delivery processes which support the international compensation programme
  1. Facilitate the implementation of the international compensation programme
  • Articulate the roles and responsibilities of human resource specialists and line managers responsible for implementing the international compensation programme
  • Identify and address any training requirements in relation to international remuneration and benefits practice for human resource specialists and line managers
  • Develop an action plan for maintaining international remuneration processes
  • Communicate the remuneration programme to stakeholders to ensure support
  1. Measure effectiveness of international compensation programme
  • Develop processes and systems for gathering measurement data and feedback
  • Analyse measurement data and feedback to establish performance against required criteria
  • Review best practices in international compensation programmes to identify potential improvements
  • Recommend refinements or modifications to international compensation programmes
