SYNOPSIS
This unit addresses the knowledge and skills to develop and implement an in-house competency framework. It includes identifying the objectives and scope, conducting research, developing, validating, implementing and reviewing the competency framework.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Identify objectives and scope of competency framework to be developed in alignment with organisational needs and objectives
- Conduct research to identify competencies relevant for the organisation
- Develop competency framework aligned to organisation’s learning and development needs
- Validate competency framework in consultation with key stakeholders to ensure the framework is applicable and relevant
- Implement competency framework to enable learning and development and other human resource (HR) processes
- Review competency framework to refine the framework for relevance and applicability
