SYNOPSIS

This unit addresses the skills and knowledge required to develop and implement change management strategies and plans. It covers the identification of opportunities for innovation and monitoring effectiveness after implementation

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  1. Develop strategies to support organisational change and innovation 
  2. Facilitate the implementation of strategies for change and innovation
  3. Monitor and evaluate change and innovation strategies

 

  1. Develop strategies to support organizational change and innovation
  • Facilitate the development of a learning organisation that supports the development of departments, teams and individuals
  • Develop processes to encourage enterprising behaviours and risk taking
  • Create opportunities for individuals within the business unit/division to provide feedback and explore ideas and opportunities for change and innovation
  1. Facilitate the implementation of strategies for change and innovation
  • Provide support and resources to implement change and innovation strategies
  • Support stakeholders to use systems and processes that support achievement of objectives of change and innovation programmes
  1. Monitor and evaluate change and innovation strategies
  • Develop processes and systems for gathering measurement data and feedback
  • Analyse measurement data and feedback to establish performance against required criteria and measures
  • Review best practices in change and innovation strategies and practices to identify potential improvements 
  • Recommend refinements or modifications to change and innovation strategies
